That’s why when I travelled in China, I always took high speed trains across cities and subways within the city. It was far more comfortable to travel that way than driving in the US. I could pick up some fresh groceries and snacks at the subway station or at stores along the sidewalks.

I was in Hong Kong during the first half of their Golden Week. Holy shit it was CROWDED. I didn’t even finish the fireworks show in TST since I left early, and I still got stuck in the MTR rush. Lots of tourist places were also crowded with mainland tourists.
